Burns Night is celebrated on the 25th of January, the birthday of one of Scotland’s finest poets, Robert Burns (25 January 1759 – 21 July 1796). He famously wrote ‘ Address to the Haggis’ paying praises to the Scot’s famous dish. This is traditionally performed at Burns Nights and with often the add on of bagpipes.
